Shannon is the visionary founder of UMA, establishing the practice in 1997 initially focused on hair removal. Under her leadership, Uptown has flourished into a comprehensive med spa offering a wide range of services. Shannon herself is an esteemed injector at UMA, channeling her passion into ensuring client satisfaction and fostering the business’s continuous growth and success. Beyond her professional achievements, Shannon finds fulfillment in her personal life. She shares her journey with a supportive fiancé, and together they cherish the joys and responsibilities of raising two children and caring for their two cherished cats. In her leisure moments, Shannon embraces her love for exploration through travel adventures. However, some of her most cherished times are spent on her patio, creating lasting memories with her family. Shannon’s dedication to excellence, coupled with her commitment to client happiness continues to shape UMA as a beacon of quality and innovation in the med spa industry.
Meghan is a seasoned professional in the aesthetics industry, with an impressive career spanning 18 years. For the past 12 years, she has been a dedicated member of the Uptown Medical Aesthetics team, where she has honed her skills and passion for aesthetic enhancements. Meghan’s journey into esthetics began after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree that sparked her interest in human behavior and psychology. She further pursued her passion by attending Esthetician school, where she discovered her love for injectables and their transformative effects. As an injector, Meghan excels in creating personalized treatment plans that enhance natural beauty and empower her clients to look and feel their best. Her approach is marked by a commitment to achieving results that are both effective and tailored to individual needs, ensuring each client leaves feeling like an enhanced version of themselves. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Meghan finds joy in her roles as a supportive wife to her firefighter husband and a loving mother to her daughter, son, and their beloved Goldendoodle dog. She treasures spending quality time with her family and friends in Erie, where she appreciates the sense of community and enjoys engaging in local activities.
Adriana is a dedicated esthetician and injector at UMA, where she has been providing expert care since 2018. Known for her passion for creating long-term beauty plans with a focus on natural results, Adriana combines skill with a personalized approach to meet each patient’s aesthetic goals. Outside of her professional life, Adriana is a proud wife to her pilot husband and a loving mother to a sweet baby boy. Their family is completed by a gentle Great Pyrenees dog, who adds joy and companionship to their home. During her leisure time, Adriana finds joy in organization projects, indulging in shopping excursions, and relishing moments around a firepit, especially when accompanied by the delightful treat of s’mores. Adriana’s blend of expertise, warmth, and dedication makes her an invaluable member of the UMA team, where she continues to inspire confidence and enhance natural beauty in her patients.
Becky is the welcoming face of UMA where she ensures every visitor feels at ease and well-cared for from the moment they step through the door. Since joining UMA in August 2023, Becky has been dedicated to providing exceptional service and engaging in delightful conversations to ensure each patient’s comfort. Becky’s passion for her role shines through in her enthusiasm for anti-aging treatments, making her a go-to person for insights on the latest and most effective procedures. Her genuine interest in helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals translates into personalized recommendations that enhance natural beauty and boost confidence. Beyond her professional role, Becky finds immense joy in her role as a loving mother to twin boys and a cherished Maltipoo named Clem. Joining UMA in May 2024, Venett brings extensive experience in medical aesthetics to our team. Her career began in 2015 in plastic and reconstructive surgery, where she developed a deep passion for cosmetic surgery and aesthetics. That passion has driven her journey through several esteemed practices under the mentorship of several esteemed plastic and reconstructive surgeons across Colorado. As the practice manager of UMA, Venett is dedicated to fostering a supportive team environment. She believes in empowering both staff and patients alike, ensuring everyone feels valued and cared for. Venett remains committed to staying informed about advancements in the industry, ensuring UMA remains a trusted destination for cutting-edge procedures and unparalleled patient care. Outside of work, Venett loves being a wife to her husband and a mom to her busy teenagers and two sweet pups. She also has a passion for wine, with Napa being her “happy place”.
